This Refund Policy explains when AIPlagScan may issue refunds for prepaid package purchases and related service issues. By purchasing checks from AIPlagScan, you agree to this policy.
What this policy covers
- prepaid package purchases
- document checks and generated reports
- technical failures that prevent service delivery
- duplicate or accidental charges
- payment disputes and fraud review
General rule
Because AIPlagScan provides digital services, refunds are generally not available once a check has been successfully used or a report has been generated, except where required by law or where we determine that a technical issue on our side prevented proper delivery of the service.
When a refund may be approved
- You were charged more than once for the same intended purchase.
- Payment was completed but checks were not added to your account and the issue cannot be corrected.
- A technical fault on our side prevented report generation and we cannot complete the service within a reasonable time.
- There is a verified unauthorized or fraudulent transaction.
When a refund will normally not be approved
- You changed your mind after a successful package purchase.
- You used one or more checks successfully and reports were made available.
- Unused checks expired after the 30-day package validity period.
- You are dissatisfied with the result, score, or interpretation of the AI or similarity report.
Unused checks
Package purchases give access to a fixed number of checks for a fixed validity period. Unused checks do not roll over after expiry and are not refundable solely because they were not used in time.
How to request a refund review
To request a refund review, contact [email protected]Copy and include:
- the email address on your AIPlagScan account
- the approximate payment date and amount
- the reason for the request
- any relevant screenshots or supporting details
Review process
We review refund requests case by case. We may ask for additional information to confirm the transaction, investigate technical logs, and check whether reports or checks were successfully delivered.
Chargebacks and disputes
If you open a payment dispute or chargeback, we may suspend access to your account while the matter is reviewed. We reserve the right to provide transaction and service-delivery records to the payment provider when responding to disputes.
